NADCA’s Die Casting Congress & Exposition Starts Monday! Stop by and visit Hill and Griffith's Booth 512.

The Die Casting Congress & Exposition will be held October 15-17, 2018, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, IN.

This three day event will feature more than 200 exhibitors ready to highlight their latest and greatest products and technology. Over 30 Congress presentations will be given by experts from around the world on topics such as computer modeling, process engineering, advanced technology and additive manufacturing just to name a few. These presentations will expose metalcasters to the latest technology, ongoing research and successful management tools that will assist companies in enhancing their competitiveness.

Description: This webinar will review the new PQ2 web application and will demonstrate how to use the app to setup a PQ2analysis and interpret the results. Included will be a walk thru of the steps required to input part, machine, and plunger data and interpretation of the intermediate results that are produced along the way when working the desired operating window. The app replaces the desktop application that has been distributed by NADCA in the past and works in a similar manner, but with many significant improvements including a new metric that is easier to interpret and use. The metric and how it can be used to guide gate area, machine, and plunger selection will be part of the demo.
