The Hill and Griffith Company congratulates Bob Waterloo, Technical Sales Manager, Concrete Release Agents, on a great achievement and for being a recognized leader in the industry by receiving the National Precast Concrete Assoc’s highest honor, the 2007 Douglas G. Hoskin Award, at the NPCA 42nd Annual Convention in Maui, Hawaii, October 23-27, 2007.
If believing in your product is the key to selling it, then Waterloo would say he’s had a pretty easy time recruiting members to NPCA over the years. Waterloo surpassed a career milestone of more than 100 members sponsored over the last 12 months, earning him the 2007 Douglas G. Hoskin Award and the Platinum Level of NPCA’s Top Gun Club.
As only the third person to sponsor over 100 members, he was awarded with the Top Gun ring, NPCA’s equivalent to a Super Bowl ring. Waterloo surpassed the 100 mark in 2007 and currently has sponsored 129 members. Dan Barbour, NPCA’s outgoing chairman of the board, presented the awards to Waterloo during the convention.
If you truly believe in something, it’s very easy to be enthusiastic about it,” Waterloo said. “I’m very enthusiastic about NPCA. Many of you have heard me say many times over the years that NPCA is the most superb trade association I’ve ever been involved with. The producers, the associates and the staff are some of the finest people that my wife Kay and I have ever been associated with.”
Waterloo is one of just three members to reach the Pinnacle Level of NPCA’s Top Gun Club (100 or more members sponsored) for membership recruitment, joining Tom Vildibill, Vildibill Enterprises and Dan Barbour, Barbour Concrete Co. in the 100-plus club. Waterloo is the first associate member to reach the Platinum level (125 or more members sponsored).
“I truly believe in this organization, and that’s what makes it easy for me when I meet with potential new members,” Waterloo said.
