Core Oil

metal cast partsfor Green Sand Metalcasting Foundry

840 CORE OIL is conventional core oil formulated with alkyd oils, petroleum resins and drying agents and is used in operations that require high strength with the least amount of baking time. Because 840 CORE OIL is a solventless binder, the consistency of the cores produced is very high. Jobs that require strict specifications benefit from the use of 840 CORE OIL, smoke reduction during baking may be realized.

841 CORE OIL is a solvent containing core oil formulated with alkyd oils, petroleum resins, solvents and drying agents and is used in operations that require high strengths fairly quickly. An added benefit of 841 CORE OIL is the lowered viscosity that allows a shorter mixing time or the use of a less efficient mixer.
