CORE OIL 840

Conventional core oil formulated with alkyd oils, petroleum resins and drying agents

  • Used in operations that require high strength with least amount of baking time

  • High consistency of cores

Baking Temperature: 450F

Lowest smoke or odor at baking

​

Packaging: Totes, Drums, Pails

CORE OIL 841

Formulated with alkyd oils, petroleum resins and drying agents

  • Used when operations require high strengths fairly quickly

  • Lower viscosity allows shorter mixing time

Baking Temperature: 400F

​

Application: Can be used with any type of mixer that allows for proper dispersion of oil

​

Packaging: Totes, Drums, Pails

EMULSIFIED CORE BINDERS

Formulated with water, drying type oil, surfactants, cross-linking resins, hardeners and biocides

  • Direct substitute for core oils

  • Easily pumped from bulk storage

  • Good sand flowability 

  • Reduced emissions and smoke

  • Optimum baking temperatures are reduced

Baking Temperature: 350 - 425 F

​

Application: Recommended they be substituted directly into the current sand mix at the same percentage as the core oil.
