GLOOK BN-80

100% boron nitride release for coating molten aluminum, magnesium or zinc accessories.

  • Protects tools, ladles & molds both metal & ceramic 

  • Easily dilutes with water

  • No VOCs

  • Completely non-wettable to non-ferrous alloys

Viscosity: 1700 - 2200 CPS

POT & LADLE COATING

Non-wetting insulating coating that allows liquid metal to roll off

  • High refractory properties, low heat and electrical conductivity

  • Not easily wetted by molten metals

  • Facilitates removal of metal sculls and spills

Application: Clean metal article to be coated of scale or loose oxide buildup, preferably by sand blasting and heat to 150 - 250F.

Works well with zinc, lead, aluminum, copper-base alloys
