Liquid Parting Products

metal cast partsfor Green Sand Metal Casting Foundry

AQUA PART® II is a patented and unique water-based liquid parting which provides improved odor characteristics and reduced flammability for foundry molding applications. Its inherent low odor level makes this product more acceptable to operating personnel. AQUA PART® II minimizes airborne hydrocarbon emissions in the workplace. AQUA PART® II Liquid Parting provides a durable film when applied on the patterns resulting in fewer sprays per draw with clean releases and minimum build-up.

GENCO 87 was developed by The Hill & Griffith Company specifically for use with high-pressure molding where machine cycle times are rapid and more draws per application are desired. Cost reductions can be made by adjusting automatic application to spray alternate cycles. May also be applied manually. Compatible with all commonly used pattern equipment.

SLIKEASE® has been developed by The Hill and Griffith Company specifically for use with high-pressure molding machines where an increased number of draws per spray application are required. The material can be sprayed using hand held or automatic spraying equipment and is compatible with all commonly used pattern equipment.

SUPER SLIK was developed by The Hill & Griffith Company specifically for use with high-pressure molding where machine cycle times are rapid and more draws per application are desired. Cost reductions can be made by adjusting automatic application to spray alternate cycles. May also be applied manually. Compatible with all commonly used pattern equipment.

Inherently Biodegradable and Non-Volatile Y-250 Liquid Parting was especially produced to meet or exceed fire and health requirements not met by other conventional compounds of this type. In use, however, an economic advantage was discovered in that less material is required to achieve good results. In many green sand applications, up to 50% less Y-250 may be used effectively.
